Plan AGV projects digitally

The coronavirus is currently making it difficult to communicate with customers and interested parties in person. InSystems Automation is therefore facilitating the specification and planning of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and is increasingly focusing on online exchange: with workshops and a new web application, AGV projects can be prepared and implemented more quickly after the coronavirus crisis.

The global restrictions and protective measures due to the coronavirus pandemic are necessary because they save lives. They mean that many everyday processes have to be rethought. This includes, for example, personal advice on the specification of AGVs, which InSystems Automation is now facilitating through online workshops. In the workshops, experts and project managers answer technical, logistical, commercial and legal questions relating to the use of transport robots. The workshops are free of charge and can be scheduled individually. All workshops last around 30 minutes and are followed by a discussion of all questions.

Digital specification sheet
InSystems Automation has developed the myANTon web application for interested parties who are already planning a driverless transport system and want to compile the requirements for a request for quotation. This guides users to their individual specifications by answering specific questions. The specification sheet not only defines the vehicle via the load, but also takes into account many requirements relating to processes, operating environment, safety and interfaces to existing systems for integration.

Once the information has been recorded, InSystems Automation can estimate which vehicle is suitable, how many are needed in the fleet and the approximate cost of integration.
