Harrie Swinkels leaves, Helmut Limberg takes over on an interim basis
The position of CEO of the SSI Schaefer Group is being filled: Effective September 3, Dr.-Ing. Helmut Limberg will take over the management of the SSI Schaefer Group as interim CEO.
Dr.-Ing. Helmut Limberg is taking over the management of the SSI Schaefer Group on an interim basis after the previous CEO, Harrie Swinkels, stepped down from all positions with effect from July 31, 2019. "Differing views on the future strategic direction of the company have led to the separation," the company reports.
Harrie Swinkels worked for SSI Schaefer for 16 years. From 2003 to 2017, he was Managing Director of SSI Schaefer Automation GmbH in Giebelstadt and was appointed CEO of the SSI Schaefer Group in January 2018: "The Advisory Board and the shareholders would like to thank Mr. Swinkels for his work and wish him all the best for the future".
Until the position of CEO is finally filled, which is planned for the first quarter of 2020, the Advisory Board of SSI Schaefer has appointed Dr. Helmut Limberg to take over the management of the SSI Schaefer Group on an interim basis. Dr.-Ing. Helmut Limberg has a wealth of experience within the industry thanks to his management and board activities, including at Beumer, Liebherr and Jungheinrich.
