The exchange will focus on the role of automation with regard to current developments and future requirements along the supply chain. Participants at the online event can look forward to four keynote speeches from top speakers. The presentations and best-practice examples will focus on topics such as labor availability, track & trace and space efficiency.

The food & beverage industry is at a turning point: labor shortages, increased need for traceability and greater demand for more efficient, sustainable production have meant that automation solutions are playing an increasingly important role in a company's success. At the two-day event, Dematic will present solutions that meet both the challenges of the industry and the growing direct-to-consumer market.

Speaker and breakout sessions, a series of presentations by four top speakers from leading companies, will be offered to participants, including transport solutions provider Intralox, trade magazine Meatingplace and market research company 210 Analytics. Their areas of expertise include the cold chain, food safety and blockchain. In their presentations, they will also provide specific recommendations for action in the areas of production-to-retail/distribution and direct deliveries to stores and end consumers. They will provide participants with an overview of the requirements along the supply chain using numerous best-practice examples, which will be visually illustrated with the help of videos and virtual tours, for example at Asahi Beverages. In addition, demo presentations of various technology solutions will also be offered.
