Automated order picking from Schmale Logtec

Among other things, Schmale Logtec is presenting a new complete system for efficient multi-order picking. With a wide range of modules, the system enables a continuous, largely automated process sequence - from automated loading of the picking trolleys with empty containers or cartons, together with data linking with orders and integrated pick-to-light displays, through to transportation to the CEP bridge.

The basis is the intelligently designed multi-order picking trolley. With a load capacity of 1,000 kilograms and up to 48 separate bin or carton storage locations and four smooth-running swivel castors, they offer flexibility and ergonomics. The design is based on the principle of a double-deep miniload with two or three levels. Optional WLAN-supported put-to-light panels are integrated for a near-zero error rate. The focus at the trade fair will also be on innovations for scalable AGV peripheral solutions. The AGV Connect product line can be used for transporting containers (AGV Tote Connect) and pallets (AGV Pallet Connect) as well as for special solutions such as trolleys with swivel castors or mobile flow racks (AGV Specials Connect).
