Transport Minister Dr. Andreas Scheuer presented the certificate at a formal reception at the Ministry of Transport. Hellmann is currently replacing part of its fleet at the Osnabrück site with new vehicles. These will be equipped with a turning assistant to improve road safety. Uwe Hasselberg, Managing Director at Hellmann Osnabrück, accepted the certificate in Berlin. "We will not only successively equip all our own vehicles with this safety-enhancing technology, but also encourage our regularly deployed transport companies to take their own measures to increase road safety," explained Hasselberg.

"Turn-off assistant campaign" launched.

Transport Minister Scheuer has also launched the "Turn Assist Campaign". Under this campaign, companies undertake to equip their vehicle fleets with turning assistants even before the mandatory introduction at EU level.
