The logistics and intralogistics industry is full of innovations, and it's time to showcase them again: The readers of materialfluss will be voting for the materialfluss PRODUCTS OF THE YEAR for the fifth time next winter from December 14, 2023.

Before the election, however, there is the application process, which begins in the summer: From July 1, 2023, companies and readers can submit products and solutions in the six categories:

1. Warehouse, shelving and warehouse equipment
2. Order picking systems, packaging and shipping
3. Conveying and lifting technology
4. Industrial trucks and accessories
5. Logistics and transportation: Vehicles, machines and software
6. Logistics and transportation: Project of the year

The successful product or solution is characterized by three characteristics: 1. it is technically mature and available on the market. 2. its innovative features set it significantly apart from its market competitors. 3. it offers customers a clearly recognizable benefit.

Successful projects are also characterized by the fact that a particularly challenging problem has been solved, a recognizable benefit for the environment or society has been achieved or a truly new solution has been found - or all three.

The rest of the process

Readers will find out about your submission in the special edition of "WELT DER INTRALOGISTIK", which will be published on December 14, 2023. At the same time, the voting portal will open at http://www.materialfluss.de and reader voting will begin. The products will also be presented in detail here. The online vote will run for around two and a half months until February 29, 2024. Participants can cast a vote in every category listed, but they can also limit themselves to selected categories.
The criteria readers use to choose their favorite is of course up to them and is also what makes this award so special. Whether someone has already had very good experiences with the product themselves, sees it as an efficient or intelligent solution for increasing competitiveness or simply honors an idea - that is entirely up to the readers.

Announcement of the winners and award ceremony

Curtain up for the winners: Shortly before the Hannover Messe, on April 11, 2024, the winners will be ceremoniously awarded. The trophy and certificate will be presented to the representatives of the respective companies at an awards ceremony. Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in each category.
The winning products will then be presented in detail online and in the printed edition of materialfluss.
