Neunkirchen, 28.05.2018 - Incas was founded in Biella in 1981 and offers its customers integrated systems and software solutions in addition to industrial automation solutions for logistics and production monitoring. The acquisition creates the ideal conditions for the company to develop into a leading manufacturer in the field of supply chain automation in Italy.

The management of Incas will continue to lead the company and will benefit from a high degree of flexibility, competence and know-how in the Italian market, coupled with SSI Schaefer's broad technology and solution portfolio.

Benno Reichmuth, CEO South West Europe at SSI Schaefer, explains: "The acquisition of Incas, with around 200 employees and comprehensive expertise in the areas of system integration and IT, fits perfectly into SSI Schaefer's overarching strategy and strengthens our local presence in South West Europe in the long term. According to the company's website, Incas generated a turnover of 40 million euros in 2017.
