Dr. Lars Brzoska becomes Chairman of the Board of Management of Jungheinrich in 2019
The Supervisory Board of Jungheinrich AG has decided on personnel changes: Among other things, that Dr. Lars Brzoska, previously the company's Chief Sales Officer, will become Chairman of the AG's Board of Management in 2019, succeeding Hans-Georg Frey.
Christian Erlach (56) will become the new Chief Sales Officer of Jungheinrich AG with effect from September 1 of this year. He began his career at Jungheinrich in 2007 as Managing Director of Jungheinrich Austria and has been Regional Manager at Jungheinrich AG since 2013, successively assuming responsibility for the regions of South East Europe, South America and South Africa.
As part of the preparations for taking over as CEO in 2019, the current Chief Sales Officer Dr. Lars Brzoska (45) will take over the vacant Technology department as of 1 September 2018. Hans-Georg Frey will stand for election to the Supervisory Board in 2019 after stepping down as CEO. The current Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Jürgen Peddinghaus, will step down in 2019. Frey is to succeed him in this position at the request of the Wolf and Lange shareholder families. The company reports that there will be no changes to the other areas of responsibility on the Management Board.
