Compact elevator for goods and people
The compact Lödige Escorta goods elevator is versatile: it can be integrated into existing buildings and racking systems, does not require a separate machine room or wall shaft and transports heavy, unwieldy loads as well as people. Thanks to the new certification (type-tested in accordance with the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and DIN EN 81-41), several people can even climb into the lift cabin with their load and travel to the desired floor. In its standard version, the Escorta can transport up to 3,000 kilos to a height of up to 18 meters (two to six stops). The cabin can vary greatly in its dimensions and can be designed to be just under three meters long, high and wide. The elevator solution also offers a high standard of safety thanks to the double-circuit braking system. The self-supporting steel scaffolding shaft with sheet metal lining is supplied complete and can be integrated into existing buildings or racking systems in no time at all. The installation requires no special construction measures or work, no separate machine room or wall shaft. At 70 millimetres, the pit depth required is very low or can be avoided altogether by using a drive-on wedge.
