This system has now been expanded with the refurbished standard shuttle to include two newly developed shuttles: the Flex Shuttle with flexible grippers (Telescopic LHD) and the Frozen Shuttle especially for the refrigerated and deep-freeze sector; it stands for dynamism and availability, especially at temperatures down to minus 28 degrees Celsius, as it moves independently on rails using electricity and no temperature-sensitive batteries are used. Thanks to the compact, modular design of the X-PTS shuttles and the associated high storage density, energy-efficient storage cooling is possible. The shuttle aisles are also easily accessible for maintenance purposes; the shuttles can be removed quickly and maintenance can be carried out flexibly. The Flex Shuttle with telescopic forks enables automatic adjustment to the load size. Removal can be carried out directly without additional trays.
