Gebhardt: Solutions for complete systems
Gebhardt will be presenting state-of-the-art automation solutions for compact production warehouses and an innovative shuttle warehouse system to increase efficiency in distribution and production. The company will also be showcasing suitable software and IoT solutions.
The extensive product spectrum ranges from the combination of a mobile production warehouse, consisting of the StoreBiter 300 Multi-Level Shuttle (MLS) and various automated guided vehicles (AGVs), to the solution-oriented Gebhardt StoreWare software and is rounded off by the new OLS X products and an analytics solution, the Galileo Insight business data acquisition system, at the trade fair stand.
The StoreBiter One-Level-Shuttle (OLS) X is a highly flexible and scalable shuttle system that can be adapted to customer requirements. It is based on a combination of the manufacturer's recognized and proven shuttle and AGV technologies. The shuttle storage system can consist of two or more aisles, which are divided into several levels. Depending on the performance requirements, each level is equipped with one or more shuttles. The different aisles are connected to each other via platforms, allowing the vehicles to move freely, easily and without rails between the aisles. This means that the OLS X is not dependent on rail guidance and does away with the need for high-maintenance, mechanical interchangeable trolleys. This OLS X solution is flexible and can be expanded almost at will. Every workstation has direct access to every item in the system, even in exact sequencing.
