Picking with the smartphone
CIM GmbH Logistik-Systeme is presenting its software products for intralogistics at CeMAT: In addition to the Prolag-World warehouse management software and the Prosend shipping system, CIM is also presenting its solutions for production logistics, forklift control systems and automated warehouse connections. In the spirit of the
CIM will be demonstrating at its stand how the logistics software perfectly networks and intelligently controls processes. Real-time picking via smartphone or scanner is the focus of the trade fair presentation. Trade fair visitors pick sweets from the "picking box". Stock changes and goods movements are displayed directly on the connected dashboard in real time. This works because Prolag-World is fully internet-enabled. The smartphones and scanners access the warehouse management software, which runs as a cloud version in the data center in Munich, via WLAN.
