The agreement covers project management, strategic consulting, implementation and the operation of IT services such as the data center. It is valid for five and a half years. The common goal of the partnership is to provide crucial support for the digitalization of Nagel-Group.

A sub-goal of the strategy is to be able to map business processes as cloud services in the long term. The decisive factor for the partnership with DextraData was the intention to replace the Nagel-Group's existing legacy applications Transport Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) with the in-house development CAL Suite. In the course of this, the logistics company from Westphalia relied on the consulting, analysis and managed services expertise of DextraData GmbH to drive forward the technical requirements for the introduction of CAL Suite, the Nagel-Group's supply chain platform.

"Cloud computing, blockchain and artificial intelligence - the world is becoming more digital and more connected. Our industry in particular, logistics, is already feeling the groundbreaking changes that come with new technologies. In line with our digitalization strategy, we are driving forward projects that address these trends and make our organization fit for the future," says Michael Lütjann, CIO - Chief Information Officer of Nagel-Group. "The partnership with DextraData is an important building block on this path. The joint project is running very smoothly. We are working together successfully and in a spirit of trust at all levels."
