IGZ supports Recaro with new logistics center
Recaro Aircraft Seating GmbH & Co. KG is investing around 13.5 million euros in the new construction of its logistics center. The company's continued growth, process optimization along the supply chain and an even stronger focus on customer service require an expansion of logistics. The approximately 6,000 square meter building will be constructed at the main site in Schwäbisch Hall with the support of IGZ, the SAP EWM general contractor. The manufacturer of aircraft seats brought the necessary process expertise on board with IGZ. The Falkenberg-based SAP partner was awarded the contract for the implementation of the logistics IT based on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), for the realization of the entire control technology and for taking over the logistics project coordination.
