It is also introducing an intelligent interface to freight exchanges that automatically researches and pre-sorts suitable return freight in the vicinity of the vehicle. With these new developments, the company is supplementing the CS Plan scheduling solution as part of the CS Connect logistics software suite. The new AI+ module determines cost-, route- and time-optimized tours for all vehicles, taking various boundary conditions into account.

The weighting of the respective criteria is determined individually for each customer depending on the order and fleet structure. The suggested routes can then be transferred to the scheduling process. Planning and suggesting follow-up orders rounds off the AI solution from cargo support.
