Steute: Reliable protection against dust and moisture
Dust, moisture and extreme temperatures place high demands on the design of switchgear. They must protect against negative influences. Steute's switchgear meets these requirements. The new products include the Ex 97 and Ex 99 series of position switches with standard dimensions in accordance with DIN EN 50047 and DIN EN 50041. They are corrosion-resistant, dust-tight and resistant to shock loads. They can be used in dust Ex zones 21 and 22 as well as in gas Ex zones 1 and 2. Another special feature is their suitability for use at low temperatures down to minus 60 degrees Celsius. Applications for this series include position monitoring of access doors or limit switching of system components on machines for handling bulk materials.
