One-handed operation: the new tablet from Getac
Getac has designed the new generation of its fully rugged T800 tablet PC to meet the needs of field service, maintenance and transportation workers who often work in confined spaces and extreme conditions. Thanks to its flat, ergonomic design, the T800 can be held comfortably in one hand, while the 8.1-inch touchscreen provides ample display area for viewing documents and allows data entry with a minimum of scrolling. In addition, the LumiBond 2.0 display is easy to read even in sunlight and has a responsive 10-point touch operation with a viewing angle of 170 degrees and an aspect ratio of 16:10 for optimum readability from almost any perspective. Different touch modes for rain, gloves and pens with a fixed tip and optional digitizer ensure the right sensitivity when writing and drawing on the tablet, while the rubberized housing creates a non-slip and non-slip surface that protects the device from bumps and moisture.
