Kathrein RFID introduces new mobile terminal

Thanks to new features, the new Mobile Terminal M260 is a solution for reliable mobile use and fits into robust workflows in harsh environments. In areas without W-LAN, data connections can be established via UMTS and location information can be provided using GPS. All common data matrix and barcodes in the near and far range as well as all UHF RFID transponders can be read. The Windows Embedded CE 6.0 operating system, the powerful processor and a long battery life ensure economical operation. The customizable fast-entry keypad can also be operated with work gloves. The entire range of functions can be used efficiently thanks to the simple operation and reliable technology in a modern design. Features such as WLAN, various barcode scanner options and IP54 protection class for outdoor use are still part of the basic equipment, according to the manufacturer.
