Easy entry into the world of wearables with Proglove

Proglove, manufacturer of wearable barcode scanners, now wants to make it even easier to start using them. To this end, the company is launching a new scanner and a matching wearable - LEO and the Hand Strap.

This means that small companies, which often still use conventional gun scanners, can now also benefit from the advantages of wearable scanning. LEO is lightweight and, according to the manufacturer, pays for itself within twelve months with just 300 scans per shift. It can be updated "over the air". The scanner is easy to handle and can read all common 1D and 2D barcodes between ten and 70 centimetres away without any problems. The Hand Strap is a new wearable from Proglove and places the scanner on the back of the hand so that the palm is free and there is more freedom of movement. It is made of a durable, lightweight material mix, can be adjusted to fit all sizes and can be worn on either the right or left hand. Proglove will also be presenting other innovations, such as Narrative Insights for its Industry Analytics solution.
