20th TEAMLogistics Forum
Digital future of intralogistics as a guest in Paderborn
The digital future of intralogistics will be presented at the 20th TEAMLogistikforum in Paderborn on November 26, 2019. The intralogistics industry will come together at this event, which is free of charge for visitors and has become one of the largest one-day logistics events in Germany.
At this event, renowned speakers and company representatives will report on the key topic "Trends in intralogistics - Digital. Intelligent. Efficient." will report on solutions, present trends and visions and showcase innovative intralogistics technologies. There will be plenty to learn for the expected 400+ visitors on the topics of artificial intelligence, warehouse management systems, automation, transport management, virtual reality and much more. Media partners in Paderborn are, as is tradition, the trade media materialfluss and LT-manager. Editor-in-chief Martin Schrüfer will moderate the day.
The event will start with the keynote speech "The logistics center of the future - intralogistics 2025". Speaker Prof. Dr. Michael Schröder from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim will take the audience on a journey into the future with all its challenges and opportunities.
Matthias Graefe, Director of Supply Chain Transformation at IBM Deutschland GmbH, will then take the audience on a journey into the world of artificial intelligence. The focus will be on the AI computer system "Watson". Watson can be used to create thousands of new possibilities for shaping the future and open doors to digital worlds that were previously unattainable. Watson also opens up completely new paths for logistics and supply chain management, leading to a successful future. Matthias Graefe presents practical examples from IBM manufacturing.
The presentation by Frank Zscherlich and Dr. Marco Plaß from TEAM GmbH will continue into the future possibilities and show how the combination of warehouse management system and VR glasses offers completely new opportunities for employee training. Using the WMS ProStore® as an example, visitors will experience the logistics world of tomorrow.
After these presentations, there will be eight workshops in the afternoon, in which trends and innovations relating to automation, order picking, voice, data glasses, drones in logistics and transport management will be discussed and presented.
This time, 3 exciting start-up companies and their founders will be presenting new logistics ideas: MotionMiners - which won first place in the Digital Logistics Award in 2017 - analyses and optimizes manual logistics processes by recording all movement sequences. Cellumation has developed a multidirectional sorter solution consisting of many individual modules, which is based on the cellular conveyor technology approach and therefore enables the greatest possible flexibility. The software and robotics company Doks.innovation has already won several awards for its drones, which specialize in automation and recording technologies in warehouses and autonomously scan storage locations and record and transmit important data.
The last lecture of the day's event is the keynote speech by extreme swimmer André Wiersig, the conqueror of the Ocean's Seven, who takes the audience into dangerous worlds with his unique experience report "Alone in the ocean at night - Successful under extreme conditions" and shares his encounters with poisonous torments, sharks, meter-high waves and other adversities.
Another highlight of the event is the accompanying trade exhibition with 33 stands. Here, the future of intralogistics can be experienced at first hand at the stands and in demonstrations. At the TEAM GmbH stand, for example, visitors can try out the VR glasses presented in the lecture and store virtual parcels themselves.
The one-day event is free of charge for logistics and IT managers and takes place at the Heins Nixdorf MuseumsForum, the world's largest computer museum, in Paderborn. Further information on presentations, exhibitors and registration: www.team-logistikforum.de
