Datalogic presents high-performance line scan camera
According to the company, the AV7000 model is the most powerful line scan camera on the Auto-ID market. It was developed by Datalogic to meet the most demanding requirements for parcel sorting applications for express courier services and distribution centers. With its large field of view (1400 mm/55 inches), the AV7000 collects high-resolution images in a single shot. This avoids the so-called "puzzle effect" that occurs when merging numerous individual images into one overall image. High-resolution, highly compressed JPG images are stored locally or remotely on the server in real time for operational analysis. Utilizing Datalogic's patented pulsed illumination system, a multi-sided reading station with the AV7000 requires only a small footprint. The solutions can be installed in 50 percent less space than non-pulsed lighting systems.
