Sensors for flexibility and safety
Leuze's trade fair appearance will focus on effective and safe sensor solutions for continuous conveyors and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
With regard to conveyor technology, sensors from Leuze electronic enable fast and reliable object detection, even under difficult conditions. A practical example: the special exhibit "Smart Process Gating", which was developed on the basis of the MLC safety light curtains. This sensor solution is an alternative to the muting process, which does not require signal-emitting sensors. Leuze electronic also has a flexible answer for driverless transport systems and transfer cars (AGVs) and demonstrates this with the RSL 400 Navi, a scanner that combines safety technology with high-quality measured value output in one device. The OGS 600, a new sensor that enables the cost-effective automation of vehicles for the transportation of materials and goods in production and warehousing, provides flexible optical track guidance.
