At LogiMAT, the steute "Wireless" division will be focusing for the first time on an automated system solution for optimizing material replenishment processes. This new development digitizes, networks and automates the Kanban process.

Wireless sensors automatically record the current material requirements and transmit the corresponding data to the material management system without delay via access points and a sensor bridge as middleware. The system components communicate via a low-power radio network. This makes the new software solution particularly suitable for flexibly connecting mobile intralogistics components and systems to the industrial data world. In addition to Kanban racks, AGV fleets, for example, are typical applications. Switchgear and sensors specially developed for this application, for example a wireless rocker switch for detecting the occupancy of shelves and spaces, are also part of steute's sWave.NET range, which will be on display at LogiMAT.
