Slim scan module for mobile devices
With the N6600 series, Honeywell now offers an ultra-slim area imaging scan module with integrated miniature decoder Board Mini DB for fast and accurate barcode capture with small mobile devices. With a height of just 6.8 millimetres, the N6600 series is one of the slimmest and most compact scan modules of its kind. It is ideal for integration into mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and portable scanner solutions used in retail, distribution centers, logistics and parcel shipping. The N6600 series features a global shutter to read even heavily damaged or poorly printed barcodes, as well as a high motion tolerance of 5.84 meters per second. Emre Onder, Vice President, Electronic and Optical Sensing, Honeywell Sensing and Productivity Solutions, says: "The N6600 Series offers a wide range of data capture applications that can be used by workers in a variety of harsh working environments - from parcel handlers who need to scan barcodes in bright sunlight to logistics personnel who need to quickly capture data from a damaged parcel label."
