ProGlove, the specialist for industrial wearables, is continuing its internationalization by appointing Tracy Hansen (50) as the new Head of Marketing for the US subsidiary in Chicago. In addition to the global CMO role (Chief Marketing Officer), Hansen will also take over the management of the US activities. She brings with her 20 years of marketing and management experience. Key stages of her career include management roles at top global companies such as NetApp and Tealium. Tracy Hansen will report directly to CEO Andreas König.

"Tracy will be instrumental in driving our US business forward and setting the tone for our international development," commented Andreas König, CEO of ProGlove. "She brings the experience and leadership skills needed to get the job done. Tracy has proven time and time again that she is an outstanding leader who exceeds expectations. I am very pleased to welcome her to ProGlove."

This appointment continues an eventful year for ProGlove. The wearable specialist not only received a number of relevant awards, but also expanded its MARK product family. In addition, the Munich-based company launched another innovative wearable on the market, Reel. Reel can be worn like a lanyard or belt clip and can be connected to all MARK scanners. It complements the previously available glove and cuff wearables. In September, ProGlove also announced a 40 million dollar financing round in which Summit Partners, DICP and Bayern Capital participated.

"It's rare to be part of a breakthrough technology development that disrupts the industry and changes it for the better," says Tracy Hansen, CMO at ProGlove. "ProGlove has redefined wearables and is bringing people into Industry 4.0. ProGlove's innovations coupled with a highly positive culture are setting the stage for continued explosive growth. That's why I'm looking forward to the task at ProGlove."

ProGlove was founded in 2014 and offers a glove scanner that improves the efficiency of scanning processes in manufacturing, logistics, retail and e-commerce. ProGlove's products are integrated into the factory and warehouse processes of some of the world's best-known brands such as Audi, BMW, Bosch, Daimler, DHL and Lufthansa Technik.
