At the end of August, Bluhm Systeme celebrated its 50th company anniversary at its headquarters in Rheinbreitbach. Over 400 national and international guests congratulated the company founder and Managing Director Eckhard Bluhm on the development of his company.

"While it's nice to see that the 50 years have been an interesting story in retrospect, it's crucial to look ahead, to have a vision for the future that continues to be filled with life. And I can promise you that: We are just as courageous today as we were in 1968," emphasized Bluhm in his welcoming speech. The beginning: Bluhm set up his own company for marking technology, Bluhm & Co, in 1968 as a one-man business. The basis for this was the distribution rights from the US company Weber Inc, Chicago. Since 1980, the financing company Bluhm Leasing & Co. KG has also existed, which is financially supported by the employees and enables customers to finance the purchase of objects. Bluhm Systeme developed into an internationally active medium-sized company.

The three sons of the company founder, Volker Bluhm (authorized signatory of Bluhm Systeme), Carsten Bluhm (sales manager of the Laser division) and Andreas Bluhm (authorized signatory of Weber Marking Systems) gave an outlook for the coming years at the celebration. Among other things, the Rheinbreitbach headquarters are to be expanded with a new building. Product development is now increasingly being driven by specific requirements. In addition to exciting developments in the areas of RFID and human-machine interaction, Bluhm is currently working on individual service and financing concepts as well as remote maintenance ideas with smart glasses.
