AL-KO Fahrzeugtechnik: Responding to customer requests with a state-of-the-art 3D printer
As one of the largest thermoforming companies in southern Germany, AL-KO has established itself as a specialist for functional, design-oriented components and process-optimizing plastic workpiece carriers. AL-KO Kunststofftechnik has now become even more efficient. A 3D printer is new, which enables the thermoforming specialists to react even faster and more flexibly to customer requirements by creating prototypes and series components. So-called sample nests, which customers use as a basis for adapting and optimizing the position of components in workpiece carriers and technical packaging, are particularly in demand. AL-KO has also further developed the "Parob" container family, which has been expanded and optimized to accommodate long, narrow components.
