Novoferm iControl: The industrial door that thinks for itself
The demands placed on modern industrial doors are high. With iControl, Novoferm presents a laser and industrial door control technology that reduces energy losses in industrial buildings by up to 50 %. The calculation is therefore simple: when opening a 4 x 4 meter standard industrial door
warm indoor air escapes. The smaller the opening, the lower the loss. Novoferm iControl is a laser and control technology for industrial sectional doors. Thanks to its fully automatic adjustment of the door opening height, energy losses can be reduced. Opening paths and times of a door are optimized. This is made possible by two laser scanners integrated into the bottom door panel. During the opening phase, they detect the size of the people or objects in front of the door. The door only opens to the absolutely necessary clearance height. The result is a door control system that is tailored precisely to the requirements of the respective location and is highly economical thanks to minimized heat loss.
