Space-saving and springless

The new EFA-SST Efficient extends the Efaprotect series from Efaflex. The space-saving, springless high-speed spiral door is particularly suitable for confined installation situations. The door is certified for resistance class 2 in accordance with DIN V ENV 1627. It is automatically burglar-resistant locked after each closing.

For many companies, narrow areas in which an end gate needs to be placed are a challenge. The required technology is often too protruding or too wide to install the required door. This is where the new EFA-SST Efficient comes in. A highly insulating door leaf and a chain drive allow it to be used in confined installation spaces, as the frame dimensions are compact. The high-speed spiral door operates without weight compensation via a chain drive. A safety catch in the gearbox serves as fall protection. The door is ideally positioned in areas with medium traffic and can be used both as an interior and exterior door.

"In addition to central use in logistics, personnel or other processes, our customers also want to rely on the excellent quality and tested security they have come to expect from us when it comes to burglar resistance," says Klaus Manlig, Sales Training Manager. "We are constantly developing our products to ensure we have the right product for every conceivable challenge. The new door in the Efaprotect series is an innovative and secure product for tight spaces that would otherwise be difficult to use for the installation of a WK2 door."

The EFA-SST Efficient is designed for around 150,000 load changes per year. The opening and closing speed is 0.5 m/s. Door widths from 600 to 4,000 millimetres and heights from 1,100 to 5,130 millimetres are available. With WK2 certification, the EFA-SST Efficient offers effective protection against burglars.
