Hörmann expands program with folding high-speed doors

Hörmann has added flexible folding high-speed doors to its industrial door range. In contrast to conventional flexible high-speed doors, the curtain is not rolled up but folded.

The individual segments of the blinds are fitted with galvanized steel wind protection profiles. High opening and closing speeds speed up work processes and minimize heat loss and draughts.

There is a choice of three door types for indoor and outdoor use, which differ primarily in terms of their insulating properties and dimensions. They are opened and closed using two lashing straps, which are secured by two additional straps in the event of damage. This patented system practically prevents the door from falling. The doors are available in five standard and six special colors.

The high-speed folding door type F 6010 is an external door for openings of up to 6 x 6 m and a temperature range of +5 to +40 degrees Celsius. Optional window elements in the curtain provide a view and let light in. Hörmann also offers the F 6010 Iso type with improved thermal insulation. The F 6010 opens at a speed of up to 1.0 m/s, while the closing process is completed at 0.5 m/s. The safety light grid integrated in the side panels monitors the closing level of the curtain up to a height of 2,500 mm

The F 14005 high-speed folding door is suitable for a temperature range of +5 to +40 degrees Celsius. It was designed for particularly large external door openings with a width of up to 14 meters and a height of up to 10 meters. Despite these dimensions, the doors accelerate to 0.5 m/s when opening and closing. Just like the Tortypen F 6010 and F 6010 Iso, it can withstand wind forces of wind load class 3.

The F 4010 Cold door type rounds off the range of high-speed folding doors. It is suitable for all indoor areas in deep-freeze logistics with temperatures down to -30 degrees Celsius. The triple-insulated curtain reduces cold losses, as does the opening speed of 1 m/s and the closing speed of 0.5 m/s. The heated frames ensure operational readiness and smooth running.

Hörmann offers the folding high-speed doors in zinc yellow, pure orange, carmine red, gentian blue and agate gray as standard. The special colors light ivory, sky blue, opal green, anthracite grey, deep black and pure white are also available.
