The new heavy-duty forklift trucks from Linde Material Handling in the 10 to 18-tonne load range are quiet and emission-free thanks to lithium-ion or conventional lead-acid batteries. The development shows how far the transformation from vehicles powered by internal combustion engines to "electric" trucks has come - an electric forklift truck with these load capacities was considered unthinkable just a few years ago.
