Anniversary vehicle for heavy loads

Heavy-duty tractor units such as the Mercedes-Benz Actros SLT are used to transport oversized and heavy components or machines. The 500th Mercedes-Benz SLT tractor unit based on the current Actros was handed over to TSB Transport-Service Beitinger from Gundelfingen. It is powered by the most powerful Mercedes-Benz truck engine, the OM 473 R6 engine with a displacement of 15.6 liters. It offers an output of 625 hp with a torque of 3,000 Nm. The permissible gross train weight is 250 tons.
