A forklift millionaire from Aschaffenburg

Linde Material Handling has been manufacturing counterbalanced trucks at its production site in Aschaffenburg since 1959. In March, the millionth truck rolled off the production line. The completion of the anniversary vehicle was celebrated with a minute-long indoor firework display of red Bengal lights, spark fountains, smoke and lots of glittering rain around the number "1,000,000" and captured on video for everyone to see. One day later, the Linde diesel forklift truck of the new 3.5-tonne capacity generation, on the rear of which all assembly employees had previously signed, set off on its journey to its future place of use at Colorobbia España S.A. on the Spanish east coast.
