Everything good comes from above?

How and whether the transportation of goods by drone will solve the transport challenges of the future remains to be seen. Nevertheless, the so-called VoloDrone is an exciting project. Together with Volocopter, the logistics service provider DB Schenker is developing solutions for the fast and emission-free transportation of goods. Volocopter's heavy-duty drone has now been presented to German politicians for the first time at the National Aviation Conference at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport and is to be used where conventional transport solutions reach their limits. The VoloDrone is autonomous and electrically powered and can transport up to 200 kilograms of cargo with a range of up to 40 kilometers.
