Torwegge presented its Torsten autonomous pallet truck. At the trade fair stand, the 235-millimeter-high AGV drove under a shelf and moved it. Torsten drives autonomously, but can also be controlled manually. Depending on the version, it can transport loads weighing up to seven tons. As there are various platform options and superstructures for the AGV, it can move different goods or perform other tasks; for example, a robot attachment for assembly work is conceivable, explained Torwegge Managing Director Uwe Schildheuer.
