The year 1979: About people and machines. In 1979, in addition to articles with a high utility value, the issues also frequently contained topics that concerned the operator, user or driver of machines in the warehouse and, of course, the warehouse worker. Color also made its way into the magazine, first on the front pages and advertisements and later also in the articles, for which editor-in-chief Roman Schmidt was responsible. In 1978, the editorial team looked for the forklift truck driver of the year for the first time with a large practical and theoretical test procedure.
