Jan Drömer takes over chairmanship of trade association
The Executive Board of the VDMA Materials Handling and Intralogistics Association has elected Jan Drömer, Chief Information Officer at EK Robotics, as its new Chairman.
The 44-year-old has been an honorary member of the board since 2018 as a member of the newly founded Automated Guided Vehicles department. Drömer will take over the chairmanship for the next two years and succeeds Steffen Bersch, who stepped down from his position when he left SSI Schaefer.
Jan Drömer has been Chief Information Officer at EK Robotics, an international manufacturer and system integrator of high-tech transport robotics, since 2017. He previously held management positions at small and medium-sized logistics and software development companies.
