ek robotics expands management board

The management of the Hamburg-based AGV manufacturer ek robotics was expanded on March 1, 2024 with Martin C. Klein and Andreas Lindemann, two experienced managers. Andreas J. Böttner will join the company's new advisory board in July.

Martin Klein has more than three decades of experience at C-level in the automotive sector. He has held various management positions with international responsibility at Daimler in Germany and the USA as well as at Recaro Automotive Seating and Remy Automotive. At ek robotics, Martin Klein is responsible for Sales, Service, Engineering and Information Technology. "I am looking forward to supporting the ek robotics team in its next growth steps. With innovative products, smart transport solutions and high-performance service, we can participate in a very dynamic market, make our customers' internal logistics efficient and thus achieve sustainable, successful growth ourselves," says Martin Klein.

Andreas Lindemann strengthens ek robotics with his decades of experience in management positions in the automotive and aviation industries. He is responsible for the areas of Finance, Operations, Procurement & Supply Chain Management and Quality Management. "I would like to support the dynamic development of ek robotics with my experience in efficient and robust processes. Together with the entire ek robotics team, we will prepare for a new chapter in the company's history with our "Top Fit" efficiency program," says Andreas Lindemann.

The shareholders have also set up an advisory board for ek robotics GmbH. This is to support the management in strategic decisions and corporate planning. The current advisory board members: Joachim Coers (Chairman of the Advisory Board), former CEO of Tognum AG / MTU Friedrichshafen, Dieter Becker, CEO of WTS Advisory and Dr. Joachim von der Goltz, Senior Advisor and former Head of Equity Capital Markets at leading international investment banks. Andreas Böttner, who has been with the company since 2011 and has led the company on a growth path as Managing Director since 2018, will join the Advisory Board from July 2024 and complete the Board with around 15 years of industry expertise.
