"I'm really looking forward to the new challenge at the Krone Commercial Vehicle Group. Especially in the transport industry, there are many exciting tasks related to telematics and digitalization; the entire industry has an extremely high potential for digitalization. Krone has already set some remarkable milestones in this segment and is known as a particularly innovative company with great, committed teams in both the agricultural machinery and commercial vehicle sectors."

Ralf Faust, Managing Director Service & Parts, and Dr Stefan Binnewies, COO of Krone Holding, welcome the new addition: "In order to make transport as effective as possible, we are working intensively on trailer digitalization, as we are experiencing a continuous increase in demand from our customers for digital solutions such as the Krone Smart Capacity Management loading space detection system and ETA predictions. With the support of Maximilian Birle's excellent expertise, we can now push ahead with further digital projects relating to our product portfolio."
