"We approach the analysis with an open mind in order to work out the best solution from the range of options," explains Frank Klinkhammer, Managing Director of Klinkhammer Intralogistics GmbH. In the area of automated small parts warehouses, Klinkhammer relies on storage robots from Exotec, among others. The robots not only handle storage and retrieval, but also transport the containers to the picking station. Additional robots, further picking stations or rack blocks can be added while operations are virtually running. This means that scalability is now also possible in intralogistics. With the integration of the Exotec system, Klinkhammer offers a complete concept from goods receipt to dispatch, including its warehouse management software KlinkWARE and its Service24.
