META represented with a permanent team at the Digital.hub Logistics Dortmund

Warehouse technology expert META from Arnsberg has been a member of the Digital.hub logistics team since the beginning of July. As topics relating to digitalization are also becoming increasingly important in the warehouse, the new team will test promising technologies for applicability and practicality. Peter Weber and Kerstin Herdtle have been recruited for the project. Weber has worked at META for many years. Kerstin Herdtle has also gained a lot of important experience through her work at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics and her studies in logistics at the Technical University of Dortmund.

"To unleash the full innovation potential of META, you need not only a thorough technology screening but also the courage to break completely new ground. Pioneering ideas arise from visions that not only need to be recognized, but also consistently pursued," explained Herdtle.

The Digital.Hub Logistics in Dortmund supports and advises the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics in Dortmund and the participating companies on digital transformation and the development of digital business models. mm
