Economic survey

dsc,

We do not expect a slump in our business performance

In the second part of materialfluss's exclusive encouraging survey on the economic outlook for 2023, six more industry experts give their views. Manfred Schleicher, Managing Director of Element Logic Germany, is one of them.

Disrupted supply chains, more expensive raw materials, a lack of production materials and rising energy costs are massive challenges for 2023. Nevertheless, they also offer opportunities for us solution providers and system integrators. The optimization of logistics processes in the production environment will open up new opportunities due to the increased demand for domestic projects (backsourcing). Many companies are investing in process optimization and sustainability. We at Element Logic are very well positioned with our product portfolio. We more than doubled our sales in the pandemic year 2021. The existing backlog and current demand are also encouraging for the coming financial year. The current economic forecasts for Germany and the eurozone suggest that general economic output will stagnate at best. We will have to wait and see what effect this will have on the automation and digitalization of intralogistics. Despite the global upheavals, we will also close 2022 very satisfactorily. The sales pipeline for 2023 is well filled and our potential new customers are also (still) confident.
