Intra Logistik asks: Are you one of the overburdened?
And may I ask you another question? Do you know the world's leading "provider of supply chain software and automation technologies" - i.e. the one that must be able to do everything better than everyone else? Don't you? Hmm. Then perhaps you are one of the overachievers. Or one of those who were ignored in a survey. Let me explain:
The company that calls itself that conducted a survey of exactly "1,200 logistics experts" in eight countries on the challenges facing the logistics sector in 2020 and found that nine out of ten participants "can no longer keep up" because of the increasing complexity in production and order processing. Consequently, there are only 15 logistics experts per country on average, the rest must be lousy. Now you should really take a good look at yourself and consider whether you are the right person for your job. Because the consequences of your lack of expertise would be devastating: "The logistics industry must not collapse under this enormous pressure," pleads the Chief Marketing Officer of the company, which calls itself "the world's leading provider of supply chain software and automation technologies".
After he has finished qualifying nine out of ten interviewees, he also names a simple yet ingenious idea to save the industry from collapse, namely his range of services: "software, automation solutions, voice/vision/mobility, robotics and material handling systems" - and "comprehensive expertise". Wow, what a relief, what a relief! The industry breathes a sigh of relief: All is not lost after all. He describes how he intends to do this in clear and catchy terms: "We are uniquely able to implement the integration of new and existing technologies as well as the realization of process optimizations both faster and more cost-efficiently." Faster than who and more cost-efficient than what, he might tell us in the next press release. We'll stay tuned for you.
