Product of the year: these are the winners

The competition entered its fifth round in 2024. The nominees were presented at the end of last year in the special edition of "Welt der Intralogistik" and online.

Mature, available and innovative

The following criteria were used as a basis for submitting products: The product had to be technically mature, available on the market and stand out significantly from its market competitors thanks to its innovative features. It also had to offer the customer a clearly recognizable benefit.

"This year's competition has once again demonstrated the high innovative capacity of companies in the intralogistics sector. Special trends this year are automated small parts warehouses, AI and electrification. Congratulations to all the winners and participants!" said materialfluss editor-in-chief Daniel Schilling at the awards ceremony.

There was a wide range of entries in the four categories of warehouse technology, order picking technology, industrial trucks and accessories, and logistics and transportation. "We are very pleased that the competition has become more and more established in recent years and about the diversity of the submissions," summarized Peter Eberhard, Publishing Director of Weka Business Medien.

These products each made it into the top 3 in 2024:

Category 1: Storage technology

1st place: Upstream (Gebhardt Fördertechnik)

2nd place: Scalable warehouse lift system solution (SSI Schäfer)

3rd place: Gridstore (Gridstore Robotics)

Category 2: Order picking technology

1st place: Movu Deutschland GmbH: Movu escala

2nd place: KASTO Maschinenbau GmbH & Co KG: KASTOsort tower

3rd place: AutoStore System GmbH: Robot R5 Pro
