va-Q-tec expands in Uruguay
Würzburg / Montevideo (Uruguay), 08.08.2018 - Va-Q-tec has opened its new Latin American headquarters and a network station in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. The provider of products and solutions in the field of thermal insulation and cold chain logistics has been using the new location as a central hub for its rental business and as a fulfillment station since July.

"Montevideo is a central logistics hub for the southern continent, with state-of-the-art airport facilities and good connections to the country's main roads, as well as being in close proximity to other pharmaceutical centers in Latin America. This makes it the ideal location for our expansion."
Va-Q-tec's customers include international pharmaceutical companies. These are an important motivation for the location decision, as they are increasingly choosing Uruguay as the location for their regional distribution centers. Factors such as the continued growth in Uruguay's service sector, as well as several public initiatives to attract foreign investment, increase the country's attractiveness for international companies. mm
