Simon Hegele majority shareholder in Kilian Metallverarbeitung

At the beginning of the year, Simon Hegele Gesellschaft für Logistik und Service mbH initially acquired 65% of the shares in Kilian Metallverarbeitung GmbH. The remaining 35% will remain with the previous owner Gerhard Kilian for the time being. The possibility of a further increase in the coming years has already been agreed. For Simon Hegele, this is a further step in expanding its market leadership in the healthcare sector.

Founded in 1895, Kilian Metallverarbeitung GmbH has been a valued partner of the Simon Hegele Group for many years and is based in Baiersdorf (Erlangen-Höchstadt district). The company sees itself as an all-round service provider in the field of metal construction - from consulting and development to the production and delivery of complete systems.

By acquiring the shares, the Simon Hegele Group can expand its service portfolio to include the design and production of metal transport and production racks. This has a positive impact on the entire process chain, particularly in the area of transportation, insertion and assembly of high-tech medical devices. Kilian Metallverarbeitung GmbH is managed by Mike Winter and Gerhard Kilian.
