Rhenus expands its activities in America
The logistics service provider Rhenus opened a logistics warehouse in Miami at the beginning of March. It is part of the new regional headquarters for North and South America.
The warehouse is around 15,000 square meters in size and offers solutions for consumer electronics, industrial telecommunications, high-tech, high-fashion and retail. The warehouse is also designated as a foreign trade zone.
Strategically located
The logistics warehouse is close to the international airport and port. The warehouse is an IATA-certified air freight forwarder, licensed ship booking carrier, bonded warehouse and certified cargo inspection facility.
"Miami is not just the gateway to Latin America. The location of the site is strategically favorable for offering our services on the American continent and acting as an interface between Europe and Asia," reports Jörn Schmersahl, CEO of Rhenus Air & Ocean Americas.
