New building in Löbau in record time

After a construction period of just one year, Palfinger, manufacturer of cranes and lifting solutions, was able to move into its new service location in Löbau. The service department is now located directly next to the plant in Löbau.

In addition to the aerial work platforms, Palfinger truck-mounted forklifts will also be serviced in future. The site is the new home of Palfinger's aerial work service. Operations began just six months after the foundation stone was laid. Until now, the Bautzen and Görlitz area has lacked a strong service partner for truck-mounted forklifts, a role that the new site will fill in the future. To this end, the local team has been trained accordingly and spare parts have been stockpiled. Palfinger has been investing heavily in the expansion of its service network for several years - more than three million euros in Löbau alone. Another new service location was recently built in Ilsfeld, Baden-Württemberg, and conversion work is due to start on the existing location in Hamburg shortly. In addition, the company has moved into larger properties at some locations in recent years, and further construction measures are also being planned. The company is also investing in the expansion of its vehicle fleet for mobile service. In this way, Palfinger aims to ensure a comprehensive, high-quality service for its products.
