The August-Kühne-Haus offers around 13,500 square meters of bright space and ergonomically designed workplaces for 725 employees. High-performance ventilation and thermal insulation glazing ensure energy efficiency. Heat pumps reduce carbon dioxide emissions for heating by a good third. Charging stations are available for electric cars.

Klaus-Michael Kühne, Honorary President of Kühne + Nagel International, says: "This location has great significance for Kühne + Nagel, as it was the headquarters of the seaport forwarding company founded in 1890 by my grandfather August Kühne and his partner Friedrich Nagel. The light, wave-like structure of the exterior façade of the building reflects our maritime tradition. The fact that our German activities are now once again being managed from the banks of the Weser means a clear strengthening of Bremen as a business and logistics location. I would like to thank everyone involved in the construction for their contribution."
