KGH on course for expansion
The KGH Group, one of the leading pan-European customs and foreign trade service providers, is further expanding its European business with the acquisition of Hermes & Richard AG.
Hermes & Richard has its own offices in Switzerland, Germany and France. "Thanks to its central location in Europe and as a trading partner of the EU, Switzerland plays an important role in European foreign trade," says Lars Börjesson, CEO of KGH. "This new acquisition will enable us to provide even better support for foreign trade processes for our customers in Switzerland and Europe. In addition, customs clearance in Switzerland is becoming increasingly digitalized. We want to drive this development forward with our services and expertise." The companies had already been working together for many years. The KGH Group has continuously expanded its business in recent years and recently opened a branch in the UK.
